New Jersey state authorities have filed a lawsuit against Discord, alleging that the popular messaging platform failed to implement adequate safety measures to protect children. The suit claims that Discord’s policies and features fall short in shielding minors from exposure to harmful content and potential predators. Officials argue that deceptive practices and insufficient user protections have left young users vulnerable, prompting legal action to force stronger safeguards on the platform.
