Elon Musk is reportedly exploring new funding avenues for xAI, with insider sources hinting at a potential revenue run rate north of US$1 billion. This bold funding push underscores Musk’s relentless drive to reframe the AI landscape, even if it means shaking loose a few billion-dollar butterflies along the way.
Elon Musk is reportedly seeking to raise up to tens of billions of dollars for xAI as part of an effort to revalue the company at $150 billion — $200 billion and fund the Colossus 2 supercomputer project with one million GPUs.
Sources also indicated that xAI discussed a possible revenue run rate exceeding US$1 billion during the call.
